There's something quietly magical about pressing flowers — capturing a moment in the season, preserving colour and form, and creating something that lasts. In this hands-on workshop, we'll take you through everything you need to know to press your own flowers successfully at home, and show you the wonderful things you can make once they're pressed.

Hosted by Jeanette and Paula at Home Farm Flowers & Crafts, you'll be learning from experienced flower growers and botanical artists who press flowers from their own Scottish-grown harvest every season. You'll leave with the knowledge, the confidence, and everything you need to get started.

We're neighbours, friends, creative artists, and seasonal & sustainable flower growers based in Helensburgh, Scotland, heading into our 4th year. We grow all our flowers from seeds, corms, bulbs and tubers, making the most of Scotland's short growing season and applying organic principles to work with the environment and wildlife.

Pressing flowers is something we do every season here at Home Farm — from delicate spring blooms to summer meadow flowers — and we love sharing that knowledge with others. Everything you'll press on the day comes from our own fields and studio.
