At Home Farm Flowers & Crafts, we’re seasonal flower growers and floral designers, now in our fourth year of growing in Scotland. We’re Paula & Jeanette — just the two of us — growing and designing each arrangement here at Home Farm.
If you’re searching for funeral flowers in Helensburgh (and the surrounding area), we create coffin sprays, wreaths, sheaves and meadow-style arrangements using seasonal flowers grown on our farm — foam-free and fully compostable.
Our style is natural and non-traditional — more garden-gathered than formal — with a gently wild, meadow-inspired feel. Arrangements are softly unstructured, designed to reflect the seasons, the landscape and the life being remembered.
We create sustainable farewell flowers using seasonal blooms grown here on our farm wherever possible. As we work with what’s naturally in season, each tribute will be beautifully unique.
Our arrangements are created without floral foam, and we avoid single-use plastics and wire wherever possible. Designs are made to be fully compostable and suitable for natural burial settings.
Based in Helensburgh. Delivery to Rhu, Cardross, Dumbarton, Alexandria, Balloch & Garelochhead — and further afield on enquiry.

All of our funeral flowers are bespoke and seasonal, shaped by what is growing and what feels most meaningful. As a growing-led alternative florist, we don’t replicate set designs — instead, we work naturally and thoughtfully to create floral tributes that feel personal, respectful and appropriate.
We will pick your flowers the day before the funeral so they are at their freshest, and arrange them using compostable materials such as moss, twine and bamboo, without the use of plastic or floral foam.
We offer seasonal posy jars and hand-tied posies that can be used during the service and then taken home by family and friends. These are a gentle way to share flowers after the farewell, allowing each person to leave with something meaningful.
Posies can also be created as two or more smaller arrangements, making them easy to share between loved ones.
Our wreaths, sprays and sheaves are created using British, seasonal flowers and foliage, designed to feel soft, garden-inspired and natural.
Designed to be placed on top of the coffin, these can range from simple foliage wreaths to flower-filled wreaths. If you’d like, we can incorporate bulbs or small plants that can be taken home afterwards and planted in your garden as a living remembrance.
Designed to sit on top of the coffin, these beautiful tributes can be created as:
Smaller, single-ended teardrop-shaped sprays, or larger, double-ended sprays
All are created using seasonal flowers and fully compostable mechanics.
Sheaves and hand-tied bouquets can be placed on top of the coffin and can also be created as two or more smaller posies, allowing flowers to be shared with family and friends after the service.
A natural, garden-inspired arrangement using seasonal flowers and foliage, created with fully compostable materials. These can work beautifully for remembrance tables, alongside the coffin, or as a softer alternative to more formal shapes.
For those seeking something less traditional, we can explore deeply personal floral tributes that reflect a loved one’s character, interests or connection to nature. This may include garden-inspired arrangements or natural forms that feel gathered rather than formal.
All ideas are approached with care and sensitivity to ensure they feel right for the occasion.
Where appropriate, we offer a garden-gathering service, using flowers or foliage from the deceased’s own garden. This can be a meaningful way to honour a life shaped by gardening, nature or home, and to include familiar plants with personal significance.
In addition to fresh, seasonal flowers, we also offer dried and everlasting funeral flower arrangements.
These can be a thoughtful option for those who would like:
A tribute that lasts beyond the service;
Flowers to keep at home as a quiet memorial | A non-traditional or informal farewell | A sustainable option using flowers grown and dried on our farm | Dried arrangements are created in the same natural, considered style as our fresh work.
We can also create floral arrangements for the church or venue, including simple flowers for altars, entrances or remembrance tables.
If you’d prefer to make arrangements yourselves, we also offer DIY buckets of seasonal flowers and foliage. This can be a lovely option for family members and friends who want a hands-on tribute. We’re happy to advise on quantities, colours and what will work well together.
We’re flower growers, not traditional florists. Designs are guided by what’s naturally in season at the time

Yes. Our funeral flowers are led by the seasons.
From March to October, we work primarily with fresh, seasonal flowers grown here on our farm or sourced from other British growers.
From November to February, when fresh flowers are more limited, we focus on foliage-led designs, alongside British-sourced seasonal stems or dried and everlasting flowers.
We recommend getting in touch as soon as you’re able. That said, we understand timings can be short and will always do our best to accommodate last-minute funeral flower requests, subject to availability.
