From Bucket to Bouquet — DIY Wedding Flowers Masterclass (Private Session)

Dreaming of doing your own wedding flowers — but want the confidence to make them look beautiful and feel calm on the day? From Bucket to Bouquet is a private DIY wedding flowers masterclass and wedding flower workshop for couples, brides-to-be, grooms-to-be, mums and bridesmaids who want to go full DIY (or mostly DIY) with expert guidance, Scottish grown flowers, and a relaxed, supportive session. We’re based near Helensburgh, in the Loch Lomond and Argyll area, and everything we teach is shaped by what we grow.

Our signature look is cottage garden wedding flowers — natural, airy, wild and whimsical — creating a wild romantic bouquet with soft movement and that “just picked from the garden” feel. It’s exactly the style we’ll help you achieve, using seasonal stems grown and dried/cared for by us.

You’ll learn the key skills to create wedding flowers with confidence. This bridal bouquet workshop covers how to condition and prep flowers for best vase life, and the mechanics of a hand-tied bouquet in our relaxed style (shape, balance and spiral technique). You’ll also learn buttonhole workshop techniques so yours looks beautiful and stays fresh, plus simple vase styling for bud vases or table vases so your arrangements look effortless. We’ll share a practical DIY wedding flower timeline too, so you know exactly what to do two to three days before, the day before, and on the morning.

This session includes a seasonal flower field tour in spring and summer (weather permitting), refreshments, and all materials for your practice makes. You’ll take home your own hand-tied bouquet and buttonhole, plus a simple take-home guide with stem counts, timings and set-up tips.

Come on your own, bring your fiancé/fiancée, your mum, or your bridesmaids — the session is tailored to your wedding style, colour palette and confidence level.

The masterclass lasts approximately 3 hours. This is a bespoke private session and once booked we’ll email to arrange a mutually suitable date (seasonal availability applies, and we’ll guide you on the best timing for your chosen wedding date).

Price is £195 per private session (up to 2 people), plus £25 per additional person (maximum 4 people total). If you go ahead and book your wedding DIY buckets with us, we’ll give you a £25 booking credit toward your bucket order for your wedding.

If you already have vases you’re planning to use, you’re very welcome to bring one or two along to practise styling.
